杜文瀚(汉)1942年生于天津,国家一级美术师,高级书法家,国礼艺术家,瑞典皇家美术学院荣誉博士,中央美术学院客座教授,博鳌亚洲艺术人才研究中心研究员,中国书画家协会终身名誉主席。其绘画作品涉猎多个画种,中西融合,画风严谨。书艺取法高古、上追秦汉魏晋、熔铸历代名家精华,书法创作敬畏传统,功力深厚。在创作中坚持真善美的格调,古拙端庄、俊秀洒脱的书风。书法作品具有浓厚的审美理想和浪漫精神以及强烈的时代风貌和独特风格。

自1963年起有大量书画作品在各大报刊发表出版。曾参加国家级书画大展,多次获奖。部分书画作品曾被中国美术馆及地方美术馆收藏。诸多作品流传到海内外。部分作品做为国礼被一带一路沿线国家元首及政府官员收藏。艺术传略入编中国文联出版社《中国美术选集》(绘画卷、书法卷)、《世界美术家大辞典》、《名家档案——走向国际的华人艺术家》、《领航中国·当代艺术卷》、《礼赞冬奥》、《大国艺术》、《艺术之路》等多部辞书及出版物。《杜文瀚谈中国书法传承与创新实践中的一些感悟》课题论文荣获教育科研成果一等奖。

Du Wenhan (Han), born in Tianjin in 1942, is a national first-class artist, senior calligrapher, national rite artist, honorary doctor of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, visiting professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, researcher of the Boao Asian Art Talent Research Center, and lifelong honorary chairman of the China Calligraphy and Painters Association. His paintings involve multiple painting genres, integrating Chinese and Western paintings, and his painting style is rigorous. Calligraphy takes the ancient method, traces the Qin, Han, Wei and Jin dynasties, and casts the essence of famous artists of previous generations, and the calligraphy creation respects tradition and has profound skills. In the creation, adhere to the style of truth, goodness and beauty, ancient and dignified, handsome and free style of writing. Calligraphy works have a strong aesthetic ideal and romantic spirit, as well as a strong era style and unique style.

Since 1963, a large number of calligraphy and painting works have been published in major newspapers and periodicals. He has participated in national painting and calligraphy exhibitions and won awards many times. Some of the calligraphy and painting works have been collected by the National Art Museum of China and local art museums. Many works have been passed down at home and abroad. Some of the works are collected by heads of state and government officials along the Belt and Road as national gifts. The art biography has been included in many dictionaries and publications such as "Anthology of Chinese Art" (painting volume and calligraphy volume), "Dictionary of World Artists", "Archives of Famous Artists - Chinese Artists Going International", "Leading China: Contemporary Art Volume", "Celebrating the Winter Olympics", "Art of Great Powers", "Art Road" and so on. The paper "Du Wenhan on Some Insights in the Practice of Chinese Calligraphy Inheritance and Innovation" won the first prize of education and scientific research achievements.

Du Wenhan has a high social reputation and influence, has made outstanding achievements in the field of culture and art, made outstanding contributions to the development of China's cultural and artistic undertakings, has a strong patriotic spirit, won the "National Glory Award", and was selected by the official jury authoritatively, and was specially awarded the honorary titles of "National Top Ten Outstanding Meritorious Artists" and "National Treasure Art Master". He won the "Belt and Road International Golden Globe Gold Award", commemorated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, won the "United Nations Art of Peace Award" issued by UNESCO, won the "United Nations Art Lifetime Achievement Award", and awarded "World Art Meritorious Figure" and "United Nations Medal of Culture and Art", and won the "Nobel International Art Prize" and other honorary titles.
